“A Townscape heritage scheme is currently funding improvements to Church Street in Hartlepool and as part of the scheme they are funding a building recording programme for Church Street that Tees Archaeology is leading. The recording work will take place between 22nd and 25th October and will be based out of our office in Hartlepool. As with other recording schemes no previous experience is required and training will be provided. we will be recording the exterior of buildings only using photography and forms.” If you would like to be involved, please contact Tees Archaeology or fill out the forms which are available on their website.
